What makes them special?
More are our fully featured outdoor pants designed to handle rough conditions and all kinds of demanding adventures. They are stretchy and soft on the skin, yet durable and tough enough for any weather and activity.
How do they work?
Women's More Pants are made with Motion Comfortshell, a fabric that has been a faithful servant at Houdini for many years — it is one of our toughest fabrics that we know will stand the test of time. It is a stretchy softshell that is super durable and protects you from wind and water, while at the same time breathes really well and has great wind resistance qualities. The soft twill construction on the inside makes them lovely next to the skin.
With two zippered hand pockets, two zippered thigh pockets (one of them with an elastic strap inside to hold your phone or attach your keys) there is plenty of room for everything you need to bring. More Pants have articulated knees for optimal freedom of movement, an adjustable bottom hem with an elastic cord and gussets behind zippers to make them fit for any boot. When you get really warm during high pace activities, just unzip the large zippers along the sides of your thighs for extra ventilation. All pockets and cutlines on More Pants are designed to work with a harness and a backpack without interfering or chafing. We made the waist on More Pants partly elastic for that extra comfort and to improve the fit for various body shapes.

When should I use it?
More Pants are fully equipped and durable softshell pants designed to handle rough conditions and demanding activities. Use them for adventures in harsh alpine environments, take them climbing or go kayaking on colder days. Even though being featured enough for the most advanced adventures, More Pants are sleek and subtle enough for your everyday outdoor life too.
The garment is completely recyclable and we kindly ask you to return it to us when it’s completely worn out. Nothing goes to waste and we can make new products from the raw material. We have recycling units in all our own stores and at many retailers.

Main Fabric: Motion Comfortshell™
Single layer stretchy softshell with great next-to-skin comfort and high breathability. We have used Motion Comfortshell for many years and it’s one of our toughest fabrics that can stand many years of hard use. The fabric is treated with a fluorocarbon free water repellent.

Care instructions
Softshell
Softshell or single layer shells are garments with a water repellent surface, but without a membrane.
- Air clothes instead of washing to save water, energy and to make the garments last longer. Do make sure to wash your shell if it has been used in salt water or has gotten very sweaty or dirty as this weakens the performance of the garment. They can reduce the fabric’s breathability and damage the water repellent surface. The dirt can even allow for moisture to leak though the fabric.
- Use a washing bag to protect your garments and to prevent fibers from leaking. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe it clean and throw the lint in your trash can. Never rinse it in water since we don’t want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
- Machine wash cold.
- Use mild environmentally certified detergents and make sure to use the right dose.
- Avoid fabric softener. Besides being harmful for our environment, they have a negative impact on the garment performance, mainly moisture transportation and breathability.
- Hang dry. Just remember to introduce heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the water resistant surface of the outer fabric. Use a drying cabinet, dryer or iron. Make sure you monitor the heat so the garment does not melt.
- You can reapply or enforce the water repellent treatment with a wash-in or spray when needed. Always use an organic DWR: You can find both a spray and a wash-in in the webshop or in our stores.
Sustainability
Circular
The Circular label means that this product is made either from recycled and recyclable or renewable and biodegradable fibers. Most products in today's society are made in a linear lifecycle, where earth's resources are extracted, used and then discarded. This is not working in the long run and comes at a great environmental impact. Instead, we want to close the loop and reuse the material we already have. But we need your help. When your Houdini garments are completely worn out, please return them to us through the recycling units we have in all our own stores and at many retailers.
Recyclable
The Recyclable label means that the raw material in this product can be used for new products, instead of becoming waste. Our goal is that by 2030, we will take no raw material to our products from the earth's crust. Circular products, made from reycled and recyclable materials are a real game changer, but we need your help for the system to work. When your Houdini garments are completely worn out, please return them to us. We have recycle units in all of our own stores and at many retailers.
